I have had a dog in my life since I was eight.
My first dog, Bryn
I love how dogs never judge you, are always soooo pleased to see you, and in the case of my current dog, Jasmine, how they follow you around if they think there's the tiniest chance they might get some food.
(Not so keen on all the blonde hairs on my black clothes, and never having a matching pair of socks to wear, but hey, rough with the smooth and all that).
After we were married, we got Poppy as a puppy ... and then when she was older, we adopted a dog from
Bath Cats and Dogs Home.
Poppy loved the water!
Daisy, not long after we adopted her
The satisfaction of knowing we had given Daisy a second chance to be loved by humans was immeasurable.
Daisy and Poppy ... my girls
(and the carpet came with the house ... it has since been replaced!!)
Sadly, both Poppy and Daisy have passed away and I now get to watch my 9 year old son form bonds with Jasmine as well as his granny and grandad's dog, Milly.

We have no space in our lives right now to adopt another dog, but I want to be able to support the amazing work that Bath Cats and Dogs Home do with rescuing and homing cats and dogs.
(In 2011, they successfully re-homed their 100,000th animal!)
£5.00 a month will run a heat lamp for a sick dog for 2 weeks.
£7.50 will pay for all the vaccination drugs for a puppy.
£18.50 will buy a DAP collar which helps nervous dogs relax.
I hope this is something you would like to help me with, and it's as easy as booking a
Pet Pooch Portrait with me for your own Pet Pooch!
